About the Role

The Program and Participation Trainee will assist in the delivery and promotion of AFL programs. This includes but is not limited to NAB AFL Auskick, NAB AFL Superkick, AFL Nines, School Programs and Competitions, as well as Community Football. The role plays an important part in ensuring these programs are delivered to a high standard and continue to grow participation in the game.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the delivery and promotion of AFL programs, events and competitions.
  • Maintain program databases and provide general administrative support.
  • Support logistics, including the setup and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the broader Participation and Programs team to ensure consistent outcomes.
  • Assist with promotions and initiatives that drive program engagement and awareness.

To succeed in this role, you will need good communication, time management and organisational skills, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality programs. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with great attention to detail.

A current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle are required. You may occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends. Applicants should clearly outline their skills, experience and suitability for this Traineeship in their application.
