Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $132,562 to $143,924 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Nurse Navigator Service meets the needs of the patient and is intended to be flexible and responsive to Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) needs.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of or working towards a relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in mental health nursing.
- Highly Desirable: Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- On-call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
