About the role

Gallery 8' is seeking a talented Barista All rounder to join our dynamic team in Southport, QLD. This is a casual role, (24 hours +)offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant, creative environment. As a Barista All rounder, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages to our discerning patrons.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other specialty beverages

  • Operating and maintaining coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance

  • Providing friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring their satisfaction

  • Restocking and maintaining the bar area, ensuring it is well-presented at all times

  • Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required, such as table service and cash handling

  • Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and equipment operation

  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills

  • A positive, friendly, and professional attitude

  • RSA certificate, serving alcoholic beverages.

  • Hours - Monday 6.30am - 2.30pm Wednesday 6.30am - 2.30pm Thursday 6.30am - 2.30pm
