- Based in a highly functional Desktop Engineering and Support team, supporting payments, critical operations, and bank note systems
This role sits within the Desktop Support team and reports directly to the Desktop Team Leader. Due to operational requirements, the successful candidate will be based full-time at our Craigieburn site, with a commitment to 5 days on-site per week. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality end-user support across a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the role
- Provide Level 2 desktop support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Support Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and asset management.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and user access.
About you
- Proven experience in desktop support or a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities on-site.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP) are desirable.
