About the role
Popular family-owned bakery café located 15 minutes south of Brisbane CBD, is seeking a casual Shop Assistant to join the team at Yeronga Bakery Café. We are looking for someone who is fast paced and has bakery / cafe experience to join us
About the Role
The casual role will involve but not be limited to:
- Assist day-to-day operations of the bakery
- Providing excellent customer service
- Take orders and enter in POS
- Work as an integral part of the team
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with guests, supervisors and staff. Work closely with store manager to potentially transition into an assistant supervisor
- Ensure a high standard of bakery presentation and store's cleanliness
The Candidate
- Minimum of 1 year hospitality and customer service experience (preferred)
- Barista experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- MUST LIVE IN BRISBANE QLD.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Own vehicle preferred but not mandatory.
- Well presented with a great work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
Shifts usually last 6-8 hours at various starting times from 5.30am - 8.30am and may include some weekend work if available .
Approximately 30+ hours per week.
In return you will receive:
- $33.50 per hour + super (at or above 21 years old )
- Additional $6.50 per hour on Saturday and or Sunday (at or above 21 years of age)
