Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture compelling and impactful images that tell stories and evoke emotions
  • Attend various events, press conferences and locations to document newsworthy moments
  • Collaborate with reporters, editors, and other team members to plan and execute visual content for news articles
  • Adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment, often working under tight deadlines
  • Embrace flexible work hours, including availability for evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required
  • Be able to cope with on call rostering

What You'll Bring:

  • A keen eye and news sense
  • Sound photography skills and the associated digital nous
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible with working hours and deadline driven
  • Great current affair knowledge
