Our experience and expertise ensure we deliver safe and productive drilling solutions for all our customers Tasmanian wide. Due to market growth, we are seeking the right individual to join our dynamic team as a Qualified Drill Operator.

The Role: As an employee at Stopford Drilling, you will be working with a fleet of top hammer drills. We operate statewide, so you will get to work on a variety of different quarry and civil projects around Tasmania. We work closely with related companies ensuring a strong seamless link between the drilling and blasting operations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience.
  • Competency in "Conduct Blast Hole Drilling" and/or "Certificate 3 Drilling Operations" preferred
  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Experience on Atlas Copco F9C and Epiroc T45 drill rigs an advantage
