Job Title: Estimator (Commercial Builders exp. required)

Location: 2x days WFH p/w & 3x days in Miranda, Sydney.

Type: Permanent role, but can be engaged via your ABN if necessary

Rate: $140k+ Super

About the Role

We're seeking a Construction Estimator to join a growing, privately owned construction company working across the hospitality, aged care, government, and residential sectors.

This role offers genuine scope to build and lead an estimating team, while also getting involved in Contract Administration and Project Management to expand your experience.

You'll be working directly with the Director on diverse and interesting projects, with the flexibility and autonomy to shape how the estimating function operates.

Key Responsibilities

·       Prepare detailed and accurate cost Estimates and tender submissions

·       Coordinate subcontractor pricing and manage tender documentation

·       Attend site inspections, pre-tender meetings, and client presentations

·       Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers

·       Assist with Contract Administration and Project Management as required

·       Work closely with senior management to identify new project streams and business opportunities

About You

·       Proven experience as a Construction Estimator

·       MUST HAVE Commercial builders/construction experience

·       Strong computer skills with estimating software (Buildsoft, CostX, or similar)

·       Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

·       Willingness to learn Government Tender procedures

·       Proactive, self-starting attitude with an interest in contributing to broader business functions
