Excavator Operator – Electrical Underground Services

Adelaide – Ongoing Work

Eco Sky Electric is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team for underground electrical installations. This role involves working on new residential and commercial electrical underground services across the Adelaide region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating excavators for trenching and underground conduit installation
  • Safely working around existing underground services (power, NBN, water, sewer)
  • Assisting with conduit placement, backfilling and site preparation
  • Reading and interpreting service plans and DBYD locations
  • Working closely with our electrical team to ensure safe and efficient excavation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience operating excavators for electrical or civil underground works
  • Current excavator ticket (RIIMPO320F or equivalent)
  • Current White Card
  • Strong understanding of safety when working near live utilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advantageous: HR licence, NDD experience, First Aid, confined space training

Pay: $30.49 – $56.45 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
