The Role

We are seeking another reliable cleaning subcontractor to clean a pub.

  • Location: 5 Riverside Qy, Southbank Vic
  • Start Time: From 6:00am (no later than 9am)
  • Duration: 2 hours per shift (with additional time when function room upstairs needs cleaning).
  • Schedule: 5 days per fortnight
  • Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday
  • Equipment: All equipment and products are supplied and kept on-site. Cleaner to supply own gloves

Tasks Include:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
  • Deliver efficient cleaning of Toilets & Urinals (including spot cleaning walls and floor corners)
  • Cob Web Removal
  • Wipe Dust from Ledges
  • Spray & Wipe Glass and Bannister
  • Empty Rubbish Bins
  • Vacuum & Mops Floors
  • Blowing Leaves from Outdoor Garden
  • Follow task checklist and update communications book
  • Report any issues during the clean
  • Wash and dry cleaning cloths every fortnightly. Must be taken off site & returned.

If you have or your own commercial cleaning business or a sole trader in the cleaning industry, are a detailed cleaner and can follow instructions via a checklist, then we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

Applications will only be considered if the following are met:

  • Registered business in the cleaning industry (sole trader or company)
  • ABN and Public Liability Insurance (minimum $5 million)
  • Current Police Check
  • WorkCover (if employing staff)
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow a daily checklist
