Nursery Educator, full time, diploma role available in our intimate Nursery room, catering for only 8 babies per day in our 40 place service.

What would your day look like?

As Nursery Educator you will be responsible for:

  • Being attentive and responsive to individual children's needs
  • Building and maintaining professional, trusting rapports with families
  • Providing children with nurturing, secure and supportive interactions
  • Leading smooth daily routines to ensure children's rest times, bottles, nappy changes etc are suitably provided
  • Supporting children's development through providing suitable environments and learning opportunities
  • Working alongside a team to plan and implement a high quality program for children's development
  • Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
  • Keeping records of children's progress, routines and interests
  • Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices

Skills and experience

We're looking for candidates who are passionate about working with children, creative, happy and fun and love what they do, and are able to take on a leadership role.

Candidates ideally have:

  • Great communication skills in person and on paper
  • Experience in a similar role and relevant early childhood education
  • Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care and child safety
  • Current Working with Children check,
  • First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training preferred
  • Understanding of child protection and commitment to safeguarding children
  • Commitment in working to our Child Safe Code of Conduct
