Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Truss Builder located in Dry Creek, SA. The Truss Builder will be responsible for constructing roof and floor trusses according to design specifications. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials to size, assembling trusses using hand and power tools, and ensuring quality control standards are met. The role also involves collaborating with the design and production teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Experience with hand and power tools, including proficiency in measuring and cutting materials to size
  • Understanding of truss design specifications and the ability to read and interpret construction blueprints
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality control standards
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour in a warehouse environment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Prior experience in truss building or carpentry is a plus
