Job Overview

As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction tasks. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. You will work closely with our team to ensure all jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting work.
• Diagnose and fix general maintenance issues in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure property upkeep.

Renovation & Installation

• Assist with renovations, including flooring, cabinetry, and fixture installations.
• Assemble and install furniture, shelving, and fittings as required.
• Work with various tools and materials to complete repair and improvement projects.

Landscaping & Outdoor Work

• Carry out basic landscaping tasks such as fencing repairs, paving, and garden maintenance.
• Install and repair decks, pergolas, and outdoor structures.

Site Coordination & Safety

• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure job expectations are met.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience with general maintenance, repairs, and construction work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in handyman services, property maintenance, or construction.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or painting is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety and first aid is an advantage.
