Your Role

As the Regional Health & Safety Lead (NSW & QLD), you'll drive WHS strategy, governance, and culture across multiple operational sites. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you'll lead regional safety performance, embed Zero Harm as a business priority, and strengthen leadership capability at all levels.

This role is based at our Crestmead (QLD) office, with regular travel across Queensland, New South Wales, and other states as required.

You will:

  • Translate Group WHS strategy into regional and site-specific action plans.
  • Conduct WHS audits, inspections, and governance reviews aligned with ISO standards.
  • Lead incident investigations (ICAM or equivalent) and manage regulator engagement.
  • Oversee injury management, workers' compensation, and return-to-work programs.
  • Coach managers and site leaders to build safety ownership and accountability.
  • Analyse WHS performance data and identify risk and improvement trends.
  • Act as a visible safety leader, engaging directly with frontline teams.
What You'll Need
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum).
  • Current First Aid and accredited Return-to-Work Coordinator certification.
  • Minimum 7 years' WHS leadership experience across multi-site, high-risk environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk frameworks.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and drive safety culture.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and solutions-focused mindset.
