About the role

We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker for a regular shift every Wednesday from 9:30am to 2:30pm in Busselton, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts as they become available.
In this role, you will support a client who enjoys shopping, going to the library, and volunteering at a local nursery. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, friendly, and passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives.
In addition to this shift, we are also offering a casual role based in Margaret River, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, providing support to various clients depending on availability and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in day-to-day living, encourage independence and accompany on activities and essential outings
- Utilise positive behaviour strategies
- Following person-centred plans
- Documenting & progress note keeping
Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting or engaging with people with disabilities
- Positively engage, interact and work with people who have complex needs
- Computer literacy and administration skills
- Ability to maintain clients' privacy and confidentiality
- Willing to travel to support clients
- Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Provide First Aid & CPR certificate (or willing to obtain prior to employment)
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening check.
