The Role
As our Graduate HSEQ Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our safety, environment and quality efforts. You'll support and maintain WHS processes and systems across the site, gain hands-on experience with ISO management systems, and help embed a culture of safety leadership at every level.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain WHS processes and systems across the site
- Lead and participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, audits, incident investigations and inspections
- Collaborate with supervisors and operators to ensure safety practices are understood and followed
- Drive the development and implementation of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and safe work procedures
- Monitor and report on WHS performance, including identifying and addressing trends and risks
- Ensure actions from hazard reports, incidents and audits are followed through to close-out
- Deliver WHS inductions and contribute to training programs
- Stay across changes in legislation and best practice, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
- Promote a culture of safety leadership at every level
About You
- A recent graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) with a degree in Safety, Environment, OHS, Environmental Science, Quality Management or a related discipline
- Passionate about HSEQ, with an interest in ISO standards and their application in manufacturing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proactive, hands-on and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and organisational skills
