About the role
If you're a bloke or a sheila who doesn't mind a bit of stress and can handle the beautiful disaster known as a site shutdown, you're exactly who we're looking for.
Whether you're:
- Fresh out of the shed? Come get your hands dirty.
- Just upgraded your ticket? Prove you're not a spanner dodger.
- Been spinning wrenches since before safety specs were a thing? We need your ancient wisdom
You'll be living and breathing planned services, those "I-swear-it-was-fine-yesterday" breakdowns, and the high-pressure excitement of digger and drill shutdown requirements—where you find all the stuff the day crew "missed."
What SMS can offer

The Boring (But Necessary) Requirements:
- HD Trade Cert (AU/NZ): We need the proof, not just the claims
- Working Rights: Must be Unrestricted Australian.
- C Class Licence: Just show us you can drive the lunch run.
