Brokk Australia is a leading supplier of remote-controlled demolition robots for the construction, tunnelling, mining and process industries. Based in Adelaide, we offer a range of products, including Brokk, Aquajet, Bricking Solutions, Darda and other partner products to customers across Australia. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Brokk AB (Sweden), we operate a well-equipped workshop that delivers after-sales service, troubleshooting and operator training.

Role Description

In this role, you will play a vital part of the Brokk Australia team by delivering high-quality training across Brokk Australia's range of equipment and partner products. You'll plan and deliver both theoretical and practical training sessions, assess and coach trainees against industry standards, and create learning materials as required. You'll provide on-site support, run live demonstrations, and represent Brokk Australia at industry events. You'll help shape the training experience that enhances safety, performance, and product knowledge. Regular travel to customer sites and company locations is a crucial aspect of this role.

Tasks may be to:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver theory and practical onsite training for operators and clients.
  • Assess trainee competence against defined criteria and relevant industry standards, and provide clear feedback and coaching.
  • Develop, maintain and tailor training materials.
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting to improve operator skills and product knowledge.
  • Keep accurate records of attendance, assessment outcomes and training plans in our systems.
  • Conduct live demonstrations and represent Brokk Australia at exhibitions and events.
  • Work closely with our RTO
    to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing outcomes and incorporating trainee and client feedback.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites and company locations as required.

Skills & Personal Qualities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Background in a relevant technical field or industry experience is a plus
  • Confident to present trainer materials or run product demonstrations to an audience

Desirable Qualification or Experience:

  • Certifications in Training and Assessment (e.g., TAE not mandatory for application
  • Knowledge of robotic and remote-controlled machinery used in construction, tunnelling, mining, and process industries
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and employee assessments
  • Skills in developing training materials and providing operational support
