Are you a jack-of-all-trades with a solid background in maintenance and repairs? Looking to stay active in a hands-on role without the pressure of full-time hours? Diverse Asset Maintenance Services is on the lookout for an experienced and reliable Handy-person to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

About the Role:

As our go-to all-rounder, you'll be assisting with a wide variety of general maintenance tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial properties in and around the Mackay region. No two days will be the same

Duties may include:

  • Minor carpentry, painting, plastering, and tiling
  • Basic plumbing and electrical work (non-licenced)
  • General repairs and upkeep
  • Pressure washing, fence repairs, garden clean-ups
  • Preventative maintenance tasks

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in general property maintenance (trade qualification not required)
  • A good mix of skills across multiple trades
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and can work independently
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence
  • Own tools (preferred, but negotiable)
