SENIOR Warehouse Storeman

We are looking for an experienced warehouse storeman and dispatch supervisor style role, this is an 8pm to 4am shift that is Monday to Friday and is a leader in this successful business.

The Cafe Distributors are a family owned food service company. We are based in the Newcastle region servicing 1000's of customers in metropolitan and regional areas around Australia. We have a broad range of customers such as local restaurants, cafes, hospitals, schools, pubs and clubs.

The Role

This role is suited to a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player with a passion for helping drive success.   The Role is fast paced.  Our ideal candidate will have warehouse experience a track record of being reliable and hard-working and be able to juggle competing priorities.

Working directly with other committed team members, your role will include:

Achieving customer service and inventory accuracy

Managing incoming and outgoing stock within the warehouse

Liase with suppliers re stock availability

Liase with customers

Maintaining Inventory databases

Seek continuous improvements for efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

Leading staff 

Receiving and dispatching stock across a 24 hour period (multiple shifts)

Picking and packing orders in our warehouse

Ensuring that all policies & procedures are followed at all times

Maintaining compliance with safety standards

Must haves:

- A current unrestricted NSW driver's licence, reliable transport and a good driving record.

• Forklift licence

• Good Physical Fitness

• Great verbal communication skills

• Warehousing and inventory experience necessary
