Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Waterproofer role located in Newcastle, NSW. The Waterproofer will be responsible for applying waterproofing membranes to roofs, concrete surfaces, and other areas as needed. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating surfaces, preparing areas for treatment, applying waterproofing materials, and inspecting completed work for quality assurance. The role also involves maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in applying waterproofing membranes, roof repair, and concrete remediation
  • Knowledge of building rectification processes and materials
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Relevant certifications and licenses in waterproofing or related fields are a plus
  • Experience in the commercial and industrial sector would be beneficial
