Position Summary

Position Title: Sandwich Artist

Reports To: Store Manager

Role Overview

A Sandwich Artist serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes SUBWAY brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.

Key Challenges

• Ensure customers are served in an efficient and friendly manner
• Maintain high personal standards in both presentation and work habits
• Ensure that Health and Safety standards are met
• Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner

Key Accountabilities

Store Merchandising

• Receive deliveries and check in stock
• Daily bread counts
• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking

Food Safety

• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Ensure food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and
• Carry out temperature checks and record as per
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per

Occupational Health & Safety

• Follow safety procedures to prevent injury
• Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers

Personal Qualities

• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet SUBWAY and customer expectations
• Work as a team member
• Complete training courses as directed by the SUBWAY Manager

Security & Loss Prevention

• Take precautions to prevent theft of, and damage to, the stock or store
• Follow company security procedures
• Secure cash and stock from loss or theft

Job Types: Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: $13.28 – $35.85 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 25 per week
