About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, detail-focused Office Cleaner & Workplace Care Assistant to keep our Hismile HQ spotless, organised, and always guest-ready. This role covers daily cleaning, kitchen/café resets, tidying, errands, and general workplace upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Cleaning & tidy

• Clean and reset all office areas: floors, bathrooms, kitchen, café, meeting rooms
• Vacuum, mop, wipe surfaces, sanitise high-touch areas
• Restock bathrooms and manage bins/recycling
• Tidy the office and throw away any rubbish not needed

2. Kitchen & Café

• Empty and reload the dishwasher daily
• Clean up after lunch (benches, tables, appliances, dishes, café area)
• Keep fridges, microwaves and sinks clean
• Clean out the fridges every Friday

3. Workplace Care & Errands

• Tidy desks and common areas
• Keep everything looking neat and organised
• Stock kitchen, medication & café essentials
• Light plant care + general ambience
• Flag maintenance issues
• Run errands to shops for office/café supplies
• Assist P&C team with room setups, events, and daily resets

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in office, commercial, or facilities cleaning (preferred but not essential).
• Strong understanding of cleaning practices, hygiene standards, and safe chemical use.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks independently.
• Comfortable using basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, mop, surface cleaners, etc.).
• High level of attention to detail and consistency in maintaining clean, organised spaces.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with different teams.
• Basic understanding of workplace health & safety practices.
• Reliability and punctuality - able to consistently meet daily and weekly cleaning requirements.
• Ability to lift, move, and organise light office items when needed.
