Ganaji Contracting is calling on skilled Instrumentation Tubefitters to join our team on a complex Oil and Gas project in Karratha
Position Overview:
As a Tube Fitter on the project, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems, supporting our skilled trades team in various tasks to keep operations efficient and safe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with tube fitting, bending, and assembly tasks as directed by senior trades
- Handling and distributing materials, including tubing and other supplies, across the site
- Preparing work areas, setting up tools and materials, and ensuring clean, organised spaces
- Inspecting and maintaining tools, equipment, and tubing for quality and safety
- Supporting in positioning, securing, and testing of tubing assemblies
- Collecting and returning tools and equipment, ensuring they're in good working condition
- Maintaining compliance with all site safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE)
- General site housekeeping and assisting with logistics as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tube fitting, bending, and mechanical assembly techniques
- High Risk Work License (preferred)
- Working at Heights certification (within the last 3 years)
- White Card
- HR, EWP, and LF tickets are highly desirable
- Consent to a pre-employment medical
- Driver's Licence or Passport
- Evidence of Rights to Work in Australia (birth certificate/passport/VEVO)
Project Details:
Location: Karratha, WA
Roster: 3 weeks on, 1 week off roster FIFO – Fly out on Day 21
Project Hours: 68-hour week (10 hours Monday to Saturday, 8 hours Sunday)
FIFO - Flights from all state and territory capital cities to Karratha WA
Commencement: Immediate start available - Potential Duration 6 - 9 months
