Our client is global software soliutions provider going through a major transformation as they move to also become a superannuation administrator in Australia.

About the role.

A Senior Project Manager is to work on a superannuation adnministration transition. This role would lead one of the streams within the program. This is your typical large program setup where teams are formed from resources across the various business units - Technology, Operations etc. 

What's Required. 

The ideal candidate will be a Senior Project Manager with experience managing complex programs in superannuation, investments, or wealth management with multiple streams.

Prior involvement in registry migrations, administration transitions, or fund mergers would be a plus.  In addition they require the following:

  • Project Management qualifications, or equivalent industry experience, e.g. Agile, PmBOK, Prince 2.
  • Experience managing large, complex, multi-stream transition and large-scale transformation programs
  • Experience working in a commercial context with a program of work governed via contractual based requirements and guiderails.
  • Proven capability in SDLC & Agile Project Management disciplines.
  • Client-focused mindset, fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, articulate and persuasive.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in financial controls, budget management, risk, and issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in structured project management methodologies and Atlassian tools.
  • Calm and assertive under pressure, ensuring effective decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management, influencing at senior levels
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide business analysts and project teams
