Maintenance & Handyman Position

About us:

Cairns Aquarium is a major tourist attraction in the Cairns CBD. We are seeking to grow our Facilities and Maintenance team to support the day to day building requirements and maintenance of existing plant and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Carpentry / general maintenance experience is preferred, however all suitably experienced applicants will be considered.
• This is an ongoing long term position, however Backpackers & travellers will be considered
• Preference will be for sub-contractors with own ABN
• White Card required.
• Tools will be supplied.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Demo work
• Renovation work
• General construction (domestic)
• General property maintenance
• Successful applicants will have an eye for detail and be able to produce consistent quality results.
• Successful applicants will be able to work independently and as part of a team
