Come join Corporate Services Division as a Category Specialist where you will be accountable for leading the end-to-end delivery of medium to high-value, high-complexity sourcing and category management initiatives, ensuring the achievement of sustainable value-for-money outcomes through the application of best-practice strategic sourcing and category management methodologies.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of category plans and procurement initiatives aligned to agreed customer needs and system-wide priorities, maximising value-for-money outcomes.
- Develop and maintain deep category, product and supplier market intelligence, including structured knowledge repositories, to inform category strategies, sub-category plans and effective commercial negotiations.
- Undertake robust analysis of customer requirements, demand patterns and specifications to underpin evidence-based category strategies and sourcing decisions.
