About the role: We are looking for an energetic and mature minded receptionist to carry out front office duties and engage with our patients in a warm and professional manner. As the face and voice of our clinic, you will have an important role in keeping our front of clinic running smoothly from greeting patients to maintaining appointment schedules with calmness and confidence. This position may be the right fit for you if your are passionate about dentistry and looking for an easy going but professional work environment.

Daily duties will include:

• Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
• Answering phone calls and responding to website and email enquiries.
• Processing cash, EFTPOS & HICAPS payments.
• Managing patient accounts.
• Maintaining patient records and filing.
• Assist with laboratory work co-ordination.
• Follow up with patients before, during and after treatment.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area and patient common areas.
• Assist with steri - on as needed basis.
• Support the rest of the team when required.

The ideal applicant should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a dental receptionist.
• D4W software experience is preferred, however training will be provided to the successful candidate.
• Friendly, naturally compassionate and energetic personality.
• Strong work ethic with a positive "can do" attitude.
• You love working in a team environment and can work within established policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Great at multitasking with excellent organizational, phone and computer skills.
• Good personal presentation.
• Experience with infection control and sterilization is preferred, however training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The position is ideally suited to:

• An experienced dental receptionist who is new or returning to Perth, Western Australia.
• A dental nurse with Certificate 3 or 4 with reception experience.
• A dental receptionist seeking part-time hours with flexibility to increase hours on an as needed basis.
