Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Brisbane, Australia (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-time

The job  

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join our international R&D team to develop and enhance our RIB CostX software. This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical product within a mixed C# and Delphi environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong C# developer with a pragmatic approach and a willingness to develop expertise in Delphi.

Key responsibilities 

• Work on continuous improvement, and new functionality software projects

• System analysis, design, coding and unit testing

• Development of applications that mainly run on desktop environment

• Work closely with others in an Agile international R&D software development team

• Actively participate in daily scrums and team meetings.

Essential requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem

• Strong experience and knowledge in building desktop applications

• Willingness to learn and work within a mixed C# and Delphi development environment.

• Experience Good understanding of Object-oriented programming

• Good command of spoken and written English is a must

• Graduate degree or Higher Diploma in IT, or a related discipline or experience in a similar role

Desired skills and competencies (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with Delphi is a plus.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or T-SQL (SQL Server).

• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
