About the Role:

We are currently looking for a qualified diesel mechanic to join our workshop team at our depot in Boronia. Reporting to the workshop manager, the successful candidate will have the relevant qualifications, including proven experience working on heavy vehicles from our hard waste fleet. This is a full-time role working Monday – Friday, with Saturdays and overtime as required. The role operates on a rotating roster, with start times varying based on workload. Availability for some Saturday shifts is essential.

Job requirements:

Ensuring maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are met.

Completing service records and reporting on stock consumed Servicing/repairs of trucks, including compactor and hook lift trucks.

Maintaining the fleet to ensure all vehicles are safe, compliant, and roadworthy.

Responding to breakdowns on road as needed.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

Trade Qualified in Certificate III or IV in Automotive / Mechanical – Heavy Vehicle Road Transport.

Solid experience within a workshop environment working on various trucks.

Previous experience in the field.

Current driver's license.

Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

Heavy Vehicle drivers' license would be favourable but not essential (HR)
