About the role

The Anaesthetic & Operating Theatre Technician works within a dynamic Perioperative Team. In this role, you will contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment that operates on a rotating 24/7 shift roster.

The role involves preparing Operating Theatres with the necessary equipment, transferring and positioning patients as directed by surgeons, and ensuring thorough cleaning of the theatre and department both during and after procedures.

You will work closely with a dedicated team of 11 Theatre Technicians, alongside Nurses, Doctors and Students, fostering strong communication and teamwork.

You are well supported by the Theatre Nurse Manager, Nursing Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators, and senior Technicians. You will continuously develop skills, with a strong focus on attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
