Network Engineer – IP/MPLS Design & Transmission

We're on the lookout for an
experienced Network Engineer
with deep expertise in
IP/MPLS design and transmission
. This role will see you partner with other Engineers to design, test, and implement IP/MPLS network architecture—developing standard configuration templates.

About the Role

  • Design and test IP/MPLS network architecture.
  • Develop and maintain standard configuration templates.
  • Work with Nokia technology.

What You'll Need:

Tertiary degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering (or related).

Strong background in
IP/MPLS design and transmission
.

Experience designing firewall policies, integrating multiple network domains, and firewall management.

Strong knowledge of Cisco solutions, traffic engineering, and dynamic routing path design.

Understanding of IP networks in relation to wireless radio systems, backhaul, redundancy, and availability.

Recent
local Australian experience
(must be Melbourne-based).

High-level communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Attention to detail and the ability to independently deliver within agreed timeframes.

Experience using Nokia technology.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia (must be Australian/NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident).
