Community Midwife – Regional Western Australia (Aboriginal Health Organisation)
Salary: $138,800 – $141,000 per annum & Super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:45pm

About the Role
As a Community Midwife, you'll provide culturally safe, holistic antenatal and postnatal care to Aboriginal women and families. You'll work closely with the local community, supporting mothers throughout their pregnancy journey and promoting positive health outcomes for both mother and child.
Your Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive midwifery care in a community setting
• Provide education, support, and advocacy for expectant and new mothers
• Collaborate with Aboriginal Health Workers and other multidisciplinary team members
• Support culturally safe and family-centred care practices
• Participate in health promotion and outreach activities
About You:
• Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
• Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and community health
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally appropriate care
