Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives? Chatr is looking for a part-time/full-time dedicated Social Worker or Counselor to join our Bendigo team, focusing on providing trauma-informed, action-focused care that helps individuals move from surviving to thriving.

We provide evidence-based, trauma-informed support that places individuals at the heart of their healing journey. Our mission is to create lasting change for individuals, families, and future generations.

Location: Bendigo, Victoria

What You'll Do:

  • Provide trauma-informed support for individuals facing AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) challenges and housing instability
  • Deliver one-on-one case management, counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate with community organizations, First Nations groups, and other key stakeholders
  • Develop action-focused plans aimed at fostering long-term well-being and social stability

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in social work or counseling, particularly in AOD and housing support
  • Strong case management, counseling, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A degree in Social Work, Counselling, or a related field
  • Eligibility for AASW membership (for social workers) or relevant accreditation for counselors
  • A valid driver's license
