The Role

The Warehouse Store Person/ forklift operator role is an integral part of our business. The role will need to be confident managing the demands of a wide range of tasks in a very busy environment

In this role you will:

  • Operate Crown High-Reach forklifts
  • Pick orders in a clean and accurate manner
  • Identify and report safety hazards and risks
  • Pack orders neatly, and in an organised manner to ensure they meet our customers' expectations
  • Liaise with Transport Carriers on pickups and deliveries
  • Perform stock cycle-counts as directed
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse
  • Load / Unload shipping containers
  • Communicate with Account Managers regarding stock discrepancies
  • Communicate effectively with Warehouse Management and Stock Controller
  • Liaise with other warehouse team members, production staff, external logistics/transport teams to ensure an effective and efficient daily operation
  • Be an active functional member of the warehouse
  • Remove and dispose of all rubbish daily
  • Keep warehouse clean and tidy as per expectations set by Warehouse Supervisor
  • Other duties as requested by senior staff

Full time position available - Monday -Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
