About The Role
As our next Electrical Supervisor to proudly represent our Crushing Team, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available. Located in the Shire of Yilgarn, on a 8/6 FIFO roster, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

Yilgarn Iron Ore Project includes the sites of Koolyanobbing, Windarling and Parker Range. The Yilgarn region has a long history of iron ore mining and is located in the Shires or Yilgarn and Menzies with ore being railed to Esperance Port for export. The productive mining areas are located on the land of the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Group.

In this role, you will have:

• Previous experience with Crushing and screening equipment
• Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment
• Repair & maintain equipment by attending breakdowns and performing routine planned maintenance.
• Experience conducting statutory testing on electrical infrastructure.
• Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 requirements
• Sound knowledge of WHS Act/Regulations and Mines Electrical Logbook is also highly regarded.
• Ensuring electrical KPI's in accordance with the client contract terms and Thiess/MACA safety systems.
• Implement, maintain, and manage systematic routine electrical maintenance program in liaison with the operational requirements of the division.
• Assessment, ordering and monitoring of electrical parts and consumables.
• Report all faults and defects of plant promptly and without delay.
• Assist in the training and learning regime of all Thiess trainees, employees and sub-contractors and identify suitable development opportunities.

About You
To be considered for these opportunities you are required to have:

• Current WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A Grade)
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• CPR/LVR (Within 1 year)
• First Aid (Within 2 years)
• Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
• HR drivers licence (desirable)
• OH&S Construction Card
• HRWL – Confined Spaces and Working at Heights
• Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
