We're looking for a confident, hands-on FOH All Rounder to join our team. You'll be across everything that makes service run smoothly – from greeting guests and taking orders to running food and drinks, jumping on the bar or coffee machine (if experienced), and keeping the venue looking sharp.

This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys people, can think on their feet, and takes pride in creating a great guest experience every time.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service

  • Warmly greet and farewell guests; manage waitlists and seating when required
  • Present menus, explain specials, answer questions, and make recommendations
  • Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS
  • Run food and drinks to tables with correct table numbers and presentation
  • Check back on tables and anticipate guest needs (water, extra cutlery, condiments etc.)
  • Handle basic guest issues or complaints professionally and escalate when needed

Bar / Beverage Service (depending on venue & experience)

  • Take and prepare basic drink orders (beer, wine, simple cocktails, soft drinks, coffee if trained)
  • Pour wine and beer to standard measures and follow RSA at all times
  • Help set up and restock the bar during service (garnishes, glassware, ice, product rotation)

Floor & Venue Presentation

  • Set up the venue for service (wiping tables, setting cutlery, menus, condiments, water stations)
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised floor and service area throughout the shift
  • Reset tables quickly and neatly between guests
  • Assist with pack down and cleaning at the end of service

Teamwork & Operations

  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow
  • Follow opening and closing checklists and side work tasks
  • Assist with stock rotation, restocking fridges, and general venue organisation
  • Follow all food safety, RSA and workplace health & safety procedures

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $41.88 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
