We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a
Leading Hand
to join our Customer Delivery team in
Perth
. The position will ensure the delivery of service to all customers in line with operational schedules and safety requirements.

In a Nutshell, Your Main Responsibilities Are

  • Supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department
  • Ensuring productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility, including completion of regular performance assessment reports;
  • Assist supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area to ensure they reach and load-up all aircraft safely and on schedule.
  • Lead by example and perform all the duties of a Driver.
  • Supervise, train and induct workers within a designated work area.
  • Organise and coordinate work within the designated work area
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties as required
  • Follows up on any discrepancies and ensures all flight deliveries are correct
  • Carry out various administrative and reporting duties, including the operation of communication and computer aids.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

  • Demonstrating leadership, decision making and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.
  • Hands on and display leadership by example
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card
  • Must hold and maintain possession of a valid Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license as well as the authority to drive airside ADA
  • Fork Lift license preferred yet not essential
  • First Aid Certificate & WHS qualifications preferred
  • Flexibility in working around flight schedules is essential (7 day per week operation)
  • A clean Police Record as part of mandatory checks required
