Job Description
Indus Lawyers, a progressive law firm located in Harris Park, invites applications from students wishing to undertake Practical Legal Training (PLT). The position is an unpaid voluntary placement, but an allowance will be paid to cover travel and other expenses.

Our firm deals with a range of practice areas, such as: Conveyancing, Family Law, Commercial Law and Litigation. The right candidate will have:

  • Basic legal knowledge;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • A can-do attitude, passionate, dedicated, and hard-working;
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills;
  • High level computer skills.

Your responsibilities and tasks will include working and training with the principal, other solicitors and staff member with exposure to a range of matters from start to finish, to enable you to obtain 'hands-on' experience which will assist you in your future career.

There is opportunity for a permanent role within the practice.
