Student Placement (Tertiary) Program Tertiary Students

Maroondah City Council offers Student Placements for students in 2025.

Our work experience program helps students meet their education requirements, develop and enhance their skills and knowledge while being exposed to a real working environment.

It's a great introduction to a career in local government with high caliber training, progressive environment and the satisfaction of knowing your work really makes a difference.

Student Placements are subject to the following:

  • Placements are only available to students from approved tertiary institutions and for those enrolled in a placement/internship unit.
  • Signed paperwork between the students educational institution and Council must be signed before the commencement.
