About the role
We currently have a vacancy for a casual Gelato Maker / Factory Hand. In this integral position, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Operate gelato production equipment to mix, freeze and package gelato products
- Ensure consistent product quality by monitoring production processes and making necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all food safety and hygiene protocols
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Support the wider production team as required to meet daily targets and deadlines
About You
Along with a strong work ethic and preferably previous experience in a similar position within the food manufacturing industry, you'll have/be:
- Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident residing within a reasonable distance of our factory in Kirrawee.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Ability to follow recipes/instructions and work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Passion for food and an interest in the gelato-making process
