ORTC is a fast-growing clothing and lifestyle brand based in Adelaide, SA. Known for our commitment to quality, we design long-lasting fashion and lifestyle products for men, women, and children. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Casual Retail Assistant to join our Norwood store, working 20 – 38 hours per week. This role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive in-store experience.

Job Overview:

As a Retail Assistant at ORTC, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a memorable shopping experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, your responsibilities will include assisting customers with purchases, maintaining store organisation, and supporting stock replenishment and inventory checks.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, prioritises customer satisfaction, and can thrive during busy shopping periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases in a friendly, knowledgeable manner
  • Managing cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Supporting stock replenishment on shelves and ensuring the store is well-organised
  • Assisting with inventory checks and stocktaking as needed
  • Maintaining a welcoming and visually appealing store environment

Requirements:

  • Availability to work 20 – 38 hours per week, including weekends and peak retail periods (such as Black Friday and Christmas)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting when replenishing stock
  • Strong attention to detail, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Positive, team-oriented approach with a passion for retail
  • Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential
