ABOUT THE ROLE

Aspect Radiology is looking for an CT/MRI Radiographer to join our growing team

This opportunity allows you to work on the latest high end medical imaging equipment with services including X-Ray, BMD, CT and MRI.

At Aspect Radiology you will have a lot of variety including:

  • Mix of case load - General X-ray, BMD, OPG, CT and/or MRI
  • Working with approachable doctor on-site daily

You will be responsible for:

  • Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols within nominated timeframes.
  • Be able to work with radiologist in the performance of procedures and to assist them as required. This includes knowledge of sterile techniques.
  • Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken
  • Carry out examinations at the direction and discretion of the Chief Radiographer.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of high-quality care to patients in a professional, caring, and sympathetic manner

ABOUT YOU

  • AHPRA - Medical Radiation Practitioner Registration
  • QLD Radiation Use Licence
  • Australian residency - Rights to work in Australia
  • Tertiary degree qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography)
  • Demonstrated professional competence within a clinical setting
  • Siemens CT and MRI experience are advantageous, but not essential.
  • Ideally minimum 1 year experience with MRI
  • Be able to commit to shift work and/or some Saturdays
  • Please outline in your CV what vendor equipment and RIS/PACS systems you have used in the past.
