About the role

Eastern Health is seeking enthusiastic and committed medical staff with a keen interest in pursuing a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. These positions offer a valuable opportunity to gain broad, hands-on experience across a wide range of O&G presentations within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Applicants are encouraged to indicate in their application if they are interested in completing the Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology during their time in the role.

Successful candidates will rotate through various clinical settings and be involved in the full spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological care. The role includes participation in evening, weekend, and night shifts, providing comprehensive exposure to the demands and rewards of a career in women's health.

• Current registration with AHPRA 
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
