At the Australian Childhood Trauma Group, we're passionate about creating a world where the risk of complex trauma is eliminated and survivors have access to effective, compassionate services. We specialise in supporting children and families impacted by trauma and attachment challenges, and we're looking for a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team.
As part of our team, you'll provide NDIS-funded specialist behavioural interventions that help individuals achieve meaningful, positive changes in their lives. You'll work within a trauma-informed, child-centred framework, delivering practical strategies that reduce behaviours of concern and empower clients, families and support networks; by;
Deliver direct behaviour interventions in both individual ang group settings
Develop Functional Behaviour Assessments and comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
Provide training and support to colleagues, caregivers, and support workers on clinical strategies
Collaborate with other professionals working with the child or young person to achieve their goals
Ensure all documentation and reports meet legislative requirements and are completed within NDIS timeframes.

What you'll bring
· Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Mental Health, Social Work, Behavioural Science, Psychology or a related field
· Current registration as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (CORE or above)
· Experience delivering behaviour support within the disability, mental health or out-of-home care sectors
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you can engage effectively with children, young people, families and professionals
· A creative, reflective and strengths-based approach to your practice
· Willingness to travel as needed (driver's licence required)
