The Opportunity

Seeking an Associate Director/Tax Accounting and Advisory to manage a client portfolio (in excess of $1m), lead and develop a high performing team, partner with quality mid-market clients to deliver meaningful outcomes, and contribute to the division's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS
  • Build and maintain long-standing relationships across multiple entities and generations
  • Lead and mentor team members at all levels
  • Provide a rewarding mix of compliance, tax advisory, structuring and strategic business planning services
  • Prepare billings, budgets and proposals
  • Drive efficiency and quality within the division
  • Work with Directors on complex advisory projects

Our clients are predominantly SME businesses and high-net-worth family groups. he accounting division includes 12 professionals based in Manly, ranging from Senior Accountants and Client Managers to Intermediates and operations staff. They are supported by a dedicated offshore team of bookkeepers and accountants, all employed directly by Peer Wealth. This offshore team has been established for over a decade and is high integrated, ensuring consistent quality and workflow efficiency.

The Candidate

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • 10+ years experience within Australian Public Practice
  • Experience managing a portfolio in excess of $1m in fees
  • Exceptional tax compliance skills
  • Proven ability to deliver value-added services
  • Outstanding client relationship management
  • Confident, articulate and excellent communication skills
  • Decisive and natural leader
