One of our key markets is Science and Pharmaceutical, and due to continued growth and demand, we are now seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne team.

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of an established and active desk, collaborating with a high-performing team of specialist Scientific Consultants. You'll play a key role in driving business growth by providing a seamless, end-to-end recruitment service to an existing portfolio of clients while continuing to identify and develop new opportunities within our specialist markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients to take comprehensive job briefs and provide strategic advice on market trends and talent availability
  • Deliver high-quality recruitment solutions across permanent, temporary, and contract roles
  • Proactively identify, attract, and secure specialist talent within the Science and Pharmaceutical sectors
  • Manage the full recruitment process from search and selection through to onboarding and post-placement support
  • Negotiate employment offers and facilitate successful outcomes for both clients and candidates
  • Drive business development activity, leveraging your network to expand market presence and client relationships
  • Maintain compliance and uphold professional standards at all stages of the recruitment process

You'll be supported by an engaged leadership team, best-in-class recruitment technology, and an innovative marketing function that amplifies your reach and impact.

About You:

  • 5+ years' recruitment experience, ideally within the Scientific or Pharmaceutical sectors
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue and performance targets
  • Strong commercial acumen and a strategic approach to client and candidate management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead by example and mentor others
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification will be highly regarded
