About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Painter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of surfaces, ensuring high standards of workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers.
  • Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Mix and match paint colours according to specifications.
  • Work with various surfaces, including timber, metal, and masonry.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
  • Perform touch-ups and final inspections to ensure a flawless finish.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Painter.
  • Proficiency in using various painting tools and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret project specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, if required.

Qualifications & Licenses:

  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (preferred but not essential).
  • Working at Heights certification (preferred but not essential).
