We're Hiring and looking for a new passionate support worker

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your clients lives? Come join our dynamic team at Sparks Social Abilities.

We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to help facilitate our popular Kids Social Groups, which is designed to foster social skills, cognitive skills, confidence, and of course FUN in a supportive environment for children aged 5–14

Key Responsibilities:


•  Co-facilitate engaging Kids Social Groups for 5 afternoons per week from 3:00 PM – 5:30PM, Monday to Friday


•  Create a safe, inclusive space for activities like games, crafts, and social interactions tailored to participants' needs.


•  Provide positive meaningful support to groups of children with diverse abilities.


•  Opportunity to extend your role with community-based support shifts, in-home support, and also or school holiday and adult programs.


•  Collaborate with our team to plan sessions, track progress, and ensure all activities align with the children's goals and needs.

What We're Looking For:


•  Experience working with children, ideally in social groups, youth programs, or support services.


•  Qualifications in individual support, youth work or a related field


•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with kids, parents, and colleagues.


•  A positive, patient attitude and creativity in engaging young minds.


•  Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) NDIS screening check and a First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).


•  Reliable transportation for potential community-based work.


•  Availability for 5 afternoons a week.
