Job Description

What you'll be doing

  • Managing patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations
  • Reception duties such as greeting clients upon arrival, answering phone calls and emails in a timely and efficient manner, and faxing/emailing documents, when required
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical information
  • Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services
  • Assisting with general office administration tasks as required
  • General administration duties such as processing of payments

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience of at least 5 years as a Medical Receptionist in a General Practice or in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with Best Practice software is highly desirable.
  • Please note: This is a long-term role. Applicants seeking short-term or temporary employment are encouraged not to apply.
  • Applicants with lesser experience considering this role as a career may be considered.
  • The role is essentially a full-time role. Applicants not available to commit to full-time hours will be prioritised less than those willing to commit to full-time hours.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient care
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • A team player who will work positively with colleagues and commit to caring for our clients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour
